Dr. Levine has practiced as a clinical neuropsychologist for more than 30 years. He has worked in brain injury rehabilitation centers in Boston, Philadelphia and West Palm Beach in the role of neuropsychologist as well as program director. In his private practice (L. S. Levine, PsyD, PA), Dr. Levine has specialized in both clinical and forensic assessment services in Florida and nationally since 1989. In 1996, Dr. Levine earned board certification from the American Board of Professional Psychology-American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology. In 2000, Dr. Levine was recruited to serve as the consulting neuropsychologist at the West Palm Beach Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC). In 2006, he was asked to join the VAMC as its permanent half-time neuropsychologist; he has continued to serve veterans since that time.
Dr. Levine is a qualified examiner for FAA pilot cognitive examinations—
(e.g. ADD/ADHD, HIV+, antidepressant use) employing Cogscreen-Aeromedical Edition.
Dr. Levine maintains active licensure for the independent practice of psychology in Florida, Massachusetts and Kentucky.
